||To unite Southern California's finest high school theatre
students for two days of competition, inspiration, and instruction.
Out-of-area and out-of-state schools and students are welcome!|
||Student performers and designers currently enrolled in
their participating high school.|
Fullerton College High School Theatre Festival 2014 is a two-day
event. This year's Festival dates are Friday, March 14, 2014 and
Saturday, March 15, 2014.
||To celebrate student achievement and to introduce high
school students to the Fullerton College Theatre Arts Department's
programs, faculty, students, and staff.|
High school instructors register online and are issued a login &
password to enroll students in acting and design categories.
Students may participate in a maximum of two (2) acting categories
(including Theatre Games), one (1) Tech Olympics team, and one (1) design
On Friday morning, instructors check in and are provided with
space on campus (to be used during Festival hours of
operation). Student actors perform in one full round of
competition on Friday afternoon and one full round of competition on
Saturday morning. Student designers present their entries in one
competition round for adjudication on either Friday afternoon or Saturday
Top ranked performers in each Acting category compete in
Saturday afternoon Final rounds. After Final results are
tabulated, trophies are awarded (1st, 2nd & 3rd place) to winners
in Acting and Design categories at a formal Awards Ceremony.
